Open letter: Call for the Suspension of the EU-Colombia Free Trade Agreement

On June 14th 2021, ECVC and several international organisations, national organisations, national representatives and citizens of various countries sent an open letter to President of the European Commission Ursula Von der Leyen, calling on the EU to suspend of the provisional application of the EU-Colombia FTA. An action such as this on behalf of the European Union would contribute to reducing drastically the impunity for human rights violations and internal forced displacement. It would also serve to stimulate the implementation of the Peace Agreement by the Government.
