La Via Campesina e-newsletter, January 2016 edition

La Via Campesina’s electronic newsletter, January 2016 edition, is now available. This newsletter highlights various articles reflecting on what happened at COP21 in Paris and the outcome of the World Trade Organisation meeting in Nairobi last year. Also highlighted are the on-going campaigns against many forms of injustices (land evictions, illegal arrests, Israel violations, etc)  and the milk crisis in Europe. The Landworker’s Alliance and The Land magazine launched a rural manifesto to challenge the elitism that dominates rural policy. The other issues such the drought affecting Zimbabwe and the Southern Africa, and actions from the regions are presented.
