On this March 30th, Land Day for Palestine, we issue an unequivocal demand for the immediate cessation of the Israeli-led genocide against the Palestinian people. As we mark the 48th anniversary of Eternal Land Day, we stand in solemn remembrance amid the ongoing, brutal campaign of annihilation carried out by Israeli occupation forces.

Call to Action – #17April: International Day of Peasant Struggles
This April 17- the International Day of Peasant Struggles brings us together to commemorate the Eldorado do Carajás massacre in 1996 and to struggle for social justice and dignity. We will occupy the streets and all spaces to reaffirm our peasant path and strengthen food sovereignty. We call on all our members, allies, and supporters to mobilize in support of the struggles of peasants against global crises.

As part of this day of action, we denounce all kinds of violence, evils of the capitalist and patriarchal system that exploits and oppress women, we manifest against the femicides as the most ruthless expression of violence expressed over the women, childhoods and diversities bodies.
Colombia: New agrarian courts raise hopes for end to land conflicts
The first five agrarian courts will open in May in the cities of Cartagena, Quibdó, Popayán, Pasto and Tunja, with 65 more to come. Peasant farmers, or campesinos, have long struggled for recognition by the state. Another effort by President Petro to resolve the unequal land divide is a promise to redistribute more than 3 million hectares (7.4 million acres) of land.
