Gentil Couto Vieira from the Landless People’s Movement in Brazil warned that agrofuel will increase corporate control over land, water and seeds, at the expense of indigenous and peasants communities and at the expense of biodiversity. Do the previous chair of COP, Brazil, and the new one, Germany, overlook so much at their commitment towards biodiversity as to sign now an agreement that express how much corporate interest weight more for them as people’s rights and the future of the planet?
