INVITACION TO THE INAUGURATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL FARMERS AND INDIGENOUS FORUM
SEPTEMBER 8, 2003 GYMNASIO AND CASA DE LA CULTURA "CUXIM BAXAAL" AVENIDA YAXCHILAN, CANCÚN, QUINTANA ROO With the participation of peasant and indigenous communities from Mexico and from all continents, to convey a sense of international solidarity among the people suffering from WTO policies, We will inaugurate the "International Farmers and Indigenous Forum" on September 8 at 10 a.m. in the Gimnasio and Casa de la Cultura "Cuxim Baxaal", Avenida Yaxchilan, en Cancún, Quintana Roo.
With this mystical ceremony we intend to rescue the history, culture, and music of the people, and above all the unquestionable significance of corn as a core our cultures.
We also invite you to visit us in the Vía Campesina/ UNORCA office to arrange interviews with the members of te Vía Campesina delegation. We are located in the "Biblioteca Deportiva Municipal" in the Gimnasio "Cuxim Baxaal", next to the Lasalle School, entering the complex from the Avenida Yaxchilan.
