Via Campesina, the international peasant movement, will hold a press conference in Mumbay where farmer leaders from all over the world will explain Via Campesina’s startegy and objectives regarding the struggle against neo-liberal polices and their participation in the events in Mumbai. With colorful dresses and seeds from all the continents, delegates will start with a symbolic ceremony. Speakers include Mr. Rafael Alegria, General Secretary of Via Campesina Mr. Henry Saragih-Indonesia, Mrs.Yung Geum Soon-South Korea, Mr. Jose Bove-France, Mrs. Francisca Rodriguez-Chile and all members of the International Coordinating Committee of Via Campesina.
