Series of events organized by grass root-activists in Berlin.

The 17th of April will be the highlight of this series of events in solidarity with La Via Campesina. For the afternoon we invite the neighbourhood and all people interested to come to a community garden in the centre of town, where we will celebrate, eat and drink together, share information about seeds, horticulture and agriculture and where we will also have a seed and plant (swap) market.

As our main focus in this year is centring around the issues of seeds and access to land in different parts of the world, our presentations, workshops and video screenings were and will be mainly about recent developments (“from above”) in these areas and at the same time about the growing of resistance in many places and the alternatives (“from below”) that gets developed and practised.
