September 10 | International Day Against WTO and Free Trade Agreements

On the 10th of September 2003, while protesting outside the WTO ministerial in Cancun, Mexico, farmer Lee Kyung Hae sacrificed his life by stabbing himself. On April 17, 1996, members of the Landless Workers‘ Movement MST were shot dead by the military police of the state of Pará with impunity.
