Chorus for a ‘Systemic transformation’ grows louder, as the world’s most diverse gathering of workers and food producers draws near

In a context of deep and interconnected crises, it is essential to unite forces. This system has failed us all, but we have always been—and continue to be—the solution. We nurture diversity, care for the land and water, build networks of solidarity, and protect the climate and health of all living beings.

Until now, the Nyéléni process has been bringing together small-scale food producers, including peasant farmers, fisherfolks, and pastoralists, alongside Indigenous Peoples, feminist groups, racialized communities, and human rights defenders worldwide.Today is the moment to strengthen our alliances and join forces with other sectors and all those who resist the oppression of the system.

We have a chance to turn the tide. The time has come to stop the downward spiral, and we can no longer afford to stay isolated in our local organizations or sectors and fight alone. We must unite, bring our ideas to the table, and make those in power listen to us. The 3rd Nyeleni Global Forum will provide the thrust and platform to gather world’s social movements and struggles to build a common political agenda, strategies, and ways of working aimed at achieving justice for all. We look forward to your presence and voice in this vital struggle!
