Mexico: hunger strike against GM maize, in pictures

Thursday, January 24, 2013, Mexico City. - Today dawned the fasters and their supporters for the second day of the hunger strike and sit-in against the approval of large scale commercial planting of transgenic maize in Mexico.

The strikers are under strong supervision of the police forces. Whereas they're facing cold weather, they are resolute in their struggle and call for all people to join the sit - even for an hour - and that sign on the Maize manifesto.
